Is This Item in Stock?

This is the single most often asked question on our phone lines.

Okay, this has happened to all or us: we'll order something expecting it to ship immediately and two weeks and then three weeks roll by with no delivery or communication.  Then after jumping thru hoops, you learn your order was never processed.

Here's the truth of how our system has worked for over a decade now.

First: Custom Boxes and Enclosures:

As published on our policy page, ALL custom boxes - subwoofer and speaker kick panels - are ordered direct from the manufacturer. 

Straight Talk - No Bull

  • NO-We do not stock ANY locally
  • YES-if shown on our site, we can order for the listed applications
  • NO-we will not say the box will fit ANYTHING other then the listed vehicle applications.  If the description says the box will fit the model years 2000-2005, IT WILL NOT FIT year 2006

Second: Just about anything else

Most major lines are stocked either locally or by nearby suppliers.  These same lines plus the thousands of vehicle specific adapters and parts are also supplied for us by several sources both in the the North East and in the Western USA.  Most of our sources ship direct to the customer for us.

  • Question: Is this "widget" in stock?
    • Answer (in most cases)- we cannot give an honest immediate response in most cases.  We simply have too many suppliers. 
  • Question: What happens if the item isn't available?
    • Answer: our buyer systematically sends your order to applicable suppliers to find your specific part (if not stocked locally)  If after being notified the item cannot ship, we contact the customer and void/cancel the order. 
  • I want to know before I place an order, why can't you tell me?
    • Answer: Read above

 NO BULL - No Lies!
Most retailers will tell callers that Everything is in stock.  Everything ships tomorrow and so on.  We've all heard that.
We refuse to lie to you.  We will submit your order in good faith expecting to ship or we'll get back to you

and honestly tell you the item isn't available.  At that point your funds are released in the system and your order is canceled.  We aren't going to hold your funds for weeks on end if there is no "real" expectation of shipping your order. 

We've been operating this way with thousands of satisfied customers over the last decade that have appreciated our honesty.
